JULIUS-K9® in protection of endangered species
The balance of the relationship between nature and humans is also greatly influenced by our connection to aquatic life. At the JULIUS-K9® sites, we have created several lakes and ponds, with mainly the intention of helping conserve endangered, amphibian and reptile species in the area. Some frog species lay eggs in February as a result of early warming. In many cases, these eggs are doomed to freeze. But what can we do to help them? Our employees collect the eggs and put them back into the ponds only after spring has truly arrived. We think our efforts will pay off in the summer when we can deal with certain insect species by collaborating with their natural enemy.
